Palm Beach Attorney

P9-65545

Hello, my name is Cathy H. Cole  and as a practicing West Palm Beach attorney, I am excited  to help you with a variety of business/ corporate, real estate and equine law matters.  I started my career as an associate defending clients in litigation. However, when I was laid off with less than thirty days before my wedding, I faced the financial stress of a wedding as well as critical point in my career. Once I returned from my honeymoon, I decided it was time to take control of my destiny and open my own firm where I could develop relationships with my clients and practice a variety of areas.

I am uniquely equipped to represent equestrian clients who take advantage of the beautiful weather and world-class riding facilities in Wellington, Florida. I have 20+ years experience riding and previously served on the Equestrian Committee for the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. As an undergraduate, I worked as an intern for the United States Equestrian Team Foundation headquartered in Gladstone, New Jersey and was an active member of the riding program at my alma mater, Sweet Briar College outside Lynchburg, VA, where I graduated magna cum laude. If you are involved in the equine business or equestrian sport industry and would like an experienced equine attorney to discuss your legal rights and concerns, please contact our offices today. I advise equine law clients every day with their horse and farm management  issues.

For professional clients, I negotiate and prepare the requisite legal documents for the sale and purchase of businesses, commonly referred to a merger or acquisition. I assist in the formation of businesses, create contracts to protect and expand those busineses, and provide advice for potential employment issues.  Protect your business by consulting with me today.

I also assist buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions in Palm Beach, Wellington, Loxahatchee, Royal Palm Beach, and Lake Worth. I handle all stages of the transaction including reviewing and preparing legal documents as well as writing title policies.

I graduated in 2009 from Florida International University College of Law in Miami, FL. While in law school, I served as president of the Environmental Law Society and as a certified legal intern with the Miami Dade State Attorney’s office.

I am not only a Palm Beach attorney, but an active member of the West Palm Beach community. I currently  serve as Secretary for the Rotary Club of Wellington. I previously volunteered with the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and Horses Healing Hearts, and served as Secretary on the board of directors for the Apostolic Child Development Centers, Inc., which provided early childhood education for many underprivileged children in West Palm Beach.

Please feel free to contact me for a consultation today so I can assist you with your legal needs.
